As lifelong Florida natives, we've spent countless days along lakefronts, ponds, and the ocean, captivated by the beauty of aquatic life. Growing up surrounded by nature, we developed a deep appreciation for the wild, valuing Earth’s untamed side over societal bustle. This bond with nature has always been part of who we are, and it shapes our approach to caring for aquatic creatures every day.

Cain’s upbringing on a small farm instilled in him the patience, nurturing, and connection needed to care for a wide variety of animals. From chickens, goats, and ferrets to sugar gliders, iguanas, and bunnies, Cain’s early life was filled with diverse creatures, each teaching him about the special ways animals communicate and bond. No matter where he traveled, Cain always sought out zoos and aquariums, places where he could immerse himself in the beauty of Earth’s creatures.

At Fabled Aquatics, all of our aquatic animals are bred in-house; we never outsource our beloved creatures. If you receive livestock from us, know that you’re getting a healthy, successfully raised baby that we bred with specialized care. We pride ourselves on creating thriving environments for our animals, where they can live as they would in the wild. When our animals are comfortable and thriving, they breed naturally, showing us that we’ve done our job well in providing them with a home that mirrors their natural habitats.
